For three generations, the King family has been creating spaces that last. It began with Brent’s grandfather, whose sharp eye for building infrastructure set the standard. His father carried the torch, building with skill that made complex projects look effortless.
Brent grew up in that environment — learning that quality is not just a result, it’s a responsibility. Today, he carries forward that legacy in both commercial and residential projects across Southwest Idaho and Northern California.
The family’s roots in Northern California farming — including sheep ranching — gave them a respect for the land and the value of well-planned, functional spaces. That agricultural heritage continues to influence King Builders’ designs, whether it’s a barn in Melba, a custom home in Eagle, or a community kitchen in Garden City.
Meg King plays a vital role in the business, bringing her creativity, organizational skills, and client-focused approach to each project. Together, Brent and Meg are raising their children with the same values they bring to their work: honesty, skill, and a commitment to serve others well.
Mentorship is at the heart of what they do. Brent works alongside his older children and mentors young people in the community, passing on artisan building skills so the craft continues for generations to come.

Our story began in Northern California, where our roots run deep in farming and craftsmanship. Three generations later, our migration to Idaho has given us a unique perspective and a deep appreciation for the character and needs of both regions.
